Japan boasts over 600 ski resorts and the best of them all are in the Hakuba area. Hakuba is home to 13 resorts - all within a 15 minute drive. Hakuba's famed lift-serviced deep powder, accessible back country, terrain parks and a consistent 11 meters of snow per season make it one of the best kept secrets in the snow-going world!
There are free shuttles to and from the major resorts and the Echoland, Happo and Wadano areas, the best places to stay, as well as downtown Hakuba, home of the banks, P.O., train station and supermarket.

The White Horse Hotels offer a personal shuttle
service to all of the resort areas.
There are a number of different lift ticket
options for the valley. The Happy Seven pass will
allow you to ski only seven of the areas. You may
be able to find it to be slightly cheaper to use
this pass however
we recommend to all our guests to buy their
passes on a day to day basis
so you will have the option to ski all of the
areas. You will also find that the multiday
passes have to be validated each day at the
ticket box so there is no time
